Also known as Ḍāin, Ḍāini. Ghost of a dead witch. Sometimes confused with churel/cudail, but it is not clear if the word denotes a different reason why this kind of ghost is created.
It is conjectured that they are a kind of demonic ghost with powers to travel between this plane and the nether regions. They may be either a person that passed away that now lives in a hellish plane and visits the earth plane, or a demonic ghost 100% born and bred in hell that comes to the earth plane on visits.
Not to be confused with churrel (also known as cudail), that is the ghost of a woman that died while giving birth.
